When Stories Foundation was only an idea, Co-Founders Stephanie & Sherrill new that there were others out there who once they found out about human trafficking would want to do something about it. The knew that the greatest need at that time was financial so they set out to start a Cafe. The Cafe is still in process, and while we wait for it to become a reality we use the Freedom Truck to carry out this part of our mission.
All of the profit from the truck goes back into supporting anti trafficking organizations in Minnesota. Currently we are building our micro grant fund and soon organizations will be able to apply to receive micro grants that range from $100- $500.
Why micro grants? Two reasons. First, to connect the community to the issues. When you eat at, or request to have the Freedom Truck you are directly impacting the fight against human trafficking in your community. Second, because there is a great financial need surrounding this issue. More funds means more awareness, more prevention and more restoration.
Give to Stories Foundation today. The money you give goes directly to resourcing the rescue and restoration of human trafficking victims. When our expenses are covered we are able to put more into the micro grant fund.
Let’s do this, together.
